EPA Awards Over $130,000 to the Railroad Commission of Texas

(Dallas, Texas – October 6, 2009) The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $138,975 to the Railroad Commission of Texas. The funds will be used by the Commission to perform mechanical integrity tests on Class III injection wells, and provide technical, drilling, completion, and reporting assistance to injection well operators in the State of Texas.
