Sitting on his porch waiting to have the power restored in the wake of Hurricane Ike, Artist Nate Mack was inspired. Determined to ensure, at least, some of the debris didn’t make it to the landfill, he decided to turn it into art and has been doing it ever since. “Repurposing this ‘trash’ into art has been a fun and rewarding project that I hope to continue long into the future” he said.
Each unique piece is both art and history . The uncompromising quality coupled with the affordable pricing makes owning a piece of his collection realistic for everyone.
Nate and the artwork are available at Green Market on Sundays from noon to 4pm.
