Direct Action Organizing in the Climate Movements
The wealthy few are destroying our climate, our eco-systems and our communities. They destroy Appalachia’s mountains for profit they make from coal. Each year, Houston and other locally-based innovators talk at the conference about issues related to the four pillars of the Bioneers — environment, health, spirit, and social justice – and cutting edge ideas related to them. This year the event will be held at Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church, running from 8:00am to 6:00pm each day.
The Bioneers is a national, non-profit educational organization that highlights breakthrough solutions for restoring people and the planet.
