How we contribute to a greener Houston: 
Beginning in January 2010, SER - Jobs for Progress will provide Green Job Training in partnership with Workforce Solutions and Houston Community College. The following classes are available: •HVAC •Solar Thermal and Solar Panel Installation •Weatherization ; SER was recentlyl awarded $3.1M from the Department of Labor Pathways Out of Poverty Grant to serve targeted communities with green job training! SER will be offering training in: Green Construction Skills, Solar Panel Installation, Weatherization Technicians, and HERS Energy Raters. Additionally, participating employers will be reimbursed 50% of their new hire wages for all training candidates hired through this project!
