Rainbow Kids Yoga at Jennyoga

Rainbow Kids Yoga at Jennyoga

By Mona Metzger
February 2010

Kristin Scheel brings Rainbow Kids Yoga to Jennyoga. Children will go on magical journeys around the world, learn their favorite animal poses and interesting animal facts, dance, laugh, play games, and more.

Jennyoga Kids class is open to children of all ages. Parents are encouraged to stay and enjoy twice the fun!

Yoga helps to create health and well-being by building awareness, strength, and flexibility in both mind and body. Yoga practitioners experience stress and pain relief, improved circulation and digestion, better body alignment, increased concentration, deeper, more relaxed breathing, and a sense of well-being.

According to Kristin, "children who regularly participate in yoga demonstate a significant increase in self esteem, overall fitness, academic performance, and decreased discipline problems. Parents benefit by laughing more and connecting with their children."

Jennyoga Kids led by Kristin Scheel begins March 6, 2010 at the Jennyoga Studio.

No need for appointment, classes are drop in and donation ($10 is suggested) and parents are free.

Jennyoga is located at 3641C Westheimer. For more information, call Kristin at 832-315-5719.
