Each year, Houston and other locally-based innovators talk at the conference about issues related to the four pillars of the Bioneers — environment, health, spirit, and social justice – and cutting edge ideas related to them. This year the event will be held at Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church, running from 8:00am to 6:00pm each day.
The Bioneers is a national, non-profit educational organization that highlights breakthrough solutions for restoring people and the planet.
Join the conversation with fellow Houstonians about re-imagining the community to its fullest potential. Listen to a lineup of inspiring local speakers and talk about innovative ideas and solutions to challenges that all Houstonians face, such as access to fresh local food and water for all, supporting our youth, recycling and energy for the future.
During each afternoon, there will be break-out sessions to further the conversation, followed by videotaped sessions from the 2011 National Bioneers Conference. Both days include a light breakfast and hearty lunch of locally sourced foods, music and art, as well as booths with educational information, books and products.
Pre-registration ends on November 10th. Buy tickets early for deep discount: http://bit.ly/IAmALeader
