The Vegan Society of P.E.A.C.E. (People for the Earth, Animals, Compassion & Enlightenment) is a grassroots nonprofit community organization which promotes PEACE and Compassion for ALL sentient beings. We are dedicated to ethical vegan living, animal rights advocacy, environmental responsibility, peace and nonviolence. Since the formation of our organization in 2004, we continue to be a 100% volunteer-run.

Our headquarters is in Houston, Texas, and our membership base is global thanks to support from members around the globe. We offer educational and social events in the Houston area, organize community outreach and exhibits, work with local media, participate in community service to help people and animals in need, and coordinate a growing local vegan support network. Members of our global Community Network also receive our free monthly newsletter and can join our interactive message board forum.

Outreach, education and advocacy are our 3 main goals. Our outreach efforts include the following annual education campaigns: MEATOUT, EARTH DAY, World Farm Animals Day, World Vegetarian Day, World Go Vegan Days and World Animal Rights Day. In 2006, we also launched our Texas "Veggin'-out" Days Campaign, which takes place annually in October. As part of our outreach, we host events & educational classes in an effort to bring awareness to these issues. We also work in conjunction with other area groups on campaigns and events throughout the year. In addition, we strive to be a support network for people who care about the earth, the animals, compassionate living and the search for knowledge and enlightenment.

Eco Chic Diaper's mission is provide an array of services and products to educate parents on the benefits of cloth diapering while simultaneously making the use of cloth diapers affordable and a breeze!

For more than 37 years, Solar X of Texas has been installing sun control film on homes business and commercial buildings. We have been in almost every subdivision stretching from Galveston to Huntsville with satisfied customers numbering into the hundreds of thousands. Solar X has also significantly added to the unique skyline of the city by installing 3M™ Window Film Systems on many of the buildings in the Downtown area.

More than 70% of our customers are regulars and we love being your neighborhood hangout. Our goal is to provide you with fresh and healthy food made to order.

We serve fair trade coffee and tea from a local provider, Lola Savannah. Local, organic, pasture grazed beef, eggs and lamb from Georgia's Ranch. Bread from a 5th generation baker at Slow Dough.

Our menu is trans fat free. We are vegetarian friendly.

Greeni Recycling provides easy and affordable recycling collection service for apartments, condominiums, town homes, bars, restaurants, and events. We are company that cares deeply about strengthening our community by increasing awareness, communication, and action. In the future we look forward to 'reincarnating' collected materials in creative and innovative applications.
