--Finally, Sustainable Solutions for Lawn and Garden maintenance. For your Garden, for your Pets, for your Family, for your Planet. The Better Choice...Naturally.
We are a "green" alternative to landscape and garden maintenance company. With any landscape, garden or lawn, whether urban, suburban or rural, there are opportunities to make a positive difference for a sustainable future. If being a good steward of the planet and leaving a legacy of clean, sustainable resources is important to you, not just any garden service will do. Consider the alternative maintenance products and services offered by Naturally Green Gardens.
We've been planting xeriscaping for many years, before the "eco" word was used. We incorporate low to no water perennials that bloom profusely and re-purpose existing plants, hard materials and anything else that can be recycled , creating far more charming, liveable, sustainable gardens , instead of boring chemically induced lawns and standarized plantings that look government controlled.
Wabash Antique and Feed Store (or Washington Avenue Bric-a-brac, Antiques, Sundries, and Hardware, as it was known in its early days) is a Houston institution. For over a hundred years, Wabash has been helping this city grow, supplying feed, seed, and farming supplies to early settlers andtoday's backyard gardener alike.
While Houston has grown and changed around us, we've kept the traditions Wabash has stood for since the beginning, giving them a modern twist. You can see this spirit of updated tradition in our selection of organic solutions, our rustic imported antiques, and our knowledgeable, friendly staff.
While it's true we are a feed store, we're much more than that. We're a hardware store, a pet shop, an organic herb garden and an antique market. We're the only place in Houston you can find holistic pet treatments, vegetable and native plants, natural pet foods, bird feeders, fertilizer, an enormous selection of farm poultry AND cold beer under one barn roof.

[1] Part Schooled [2] part mad man, Freelance Project Manager and Home Designer Hugo Rodriguez- Ugalde was born into a family of farmers, builders, architects, engineers, landscape designers, electricians, plumbers, and race horse jockeys. The sweet smell of corn husks and the cozy feel of the chicken coops marked my memories of the farm as we relocated to Houston TX. I interned with my dad at a very young age, where I started designing homes at 10 years old. I was an early high school graduate at 16, and started my first semester in college. I attained the most valuable knowledge by trade when I started my design firm in 2007. I have a deep passion for smart design, modern architecture, and skilled education. -Hugo Rodriguez- Ugalde
