There really was a Ziggy. Although he’s no longer an owner, we still follow his philosophy – healthy food in a casual setting which is affordable. More than 70% of our customers are regulars and we love being your neighborhood hangout. Our goal is to provide you with fresh and healthy food made to order.

We serve fair trade coffee and tea from a local provider, Lola Savannah. Local, organic, pasture grazed beef, eggs and lamb from Georgia's Ranch. Bread from a 5th generation baker at Slow Dough.

Our menu is trans fat free. We are vegetarian friendly.

Oh my! Pocket Pies (OMPP) is a fresher alternative to fast food; an Inner-city mobile food vendor truck that offers quality, local food at competitive prices. Based only in Houston, TX OMPP buys quality ingredients from mostly local vendors, prepares them fresh, and serves it in recyclable and compostable/biodegradable products only. Built on passion and run on dedication, OMPP strives to serve the best food with minimum environmental impact. We ultimately hope to become living proof that quality, fast food can be produced with little to no excess waste.

We are set to open the week after Thanksgiving. We will be located Kim Hung Mall parking lot in Old Chinatown.

The Houston REV Eco-Shuttles will be our delivery service.

How we contribute to a greener Houston: 
All of our fresh brewed coffee is Organic Fair Trade. All paper cups are compostable. All "plastic" cups are made from corn and compostable. All of our trash bags are compostable. We offer our coffee grinds for composting. We recycle our glass, plastic, aluminum, and paper.

We recycle and compost our kitchen scraps, leave the A.C. off (yes, even now), several folks who work with us ride bikes to work. We support several area farmers markets and Pat Greer co-hosts a radio show on KPFT, 90.1 - Eco-Ology every Wednesday from 6 to 7 AM. Eco-Ology is KPFT’s program dedicated to local hero’s at the forefront of environmental action, ecology in and for Our community, social justice, health, and spirit. Eco-Ology also devotes a portion of each program to food, glorious food. Pat Greer's Kitchen is dedicated to providing the best meals and snacks to folks. Local folks fixin' food for local folks.

They offer a limited food menu and an array of Organic, Fair Trade coffee brewed fresh to order and espresso made from vintage machines. Our premium coffee and full bar is matched only by our unique selection of beer and limited production, boutique wines.

Bar Boheme contributes to a Greener Houston many ways. They recycle the empty bottles they business generates, feature local artists and highlight local music talent. Additionally, they have recently phased out napkins. Yes, that's right. NO napkins. Talk about reducing your footprint! Stop by, check them out--you'll be glad you did.
